Job summary
AdventHealth in Shawnee Mission, Kansas is seeking an RN in a Full-time role to conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. You will administer medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.
Compliance with infection control and safety standards is essential. The role requires Associates of Nursing and 1+ year PACU/Med Surg RN experience, with English fluency and strong communication
Qualifications
- Associates of Nursing required.
- Bachelor of Nursing preferred.
- 1+ year PACU or Med Surg RN experience.
- Must be fluent in English (read, verbal and written).
- Basic computer skills – Microsoft Windows based programs.
Responsibilities
- Assess physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols.
- Educate patients and families to promote understanding and self-care.
- Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and ensure teamwork.
