Job summary

AdventHealth in Shawnee, KS is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient assessments and individualized care plans in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will administer medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes. Strong communication and clinical skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• 1+ year acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff and other departments to coordinate care and ensure effective communication.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, care provided, and outcomes.
