Job summary
AdventHealth in Shawnee Mission, KS is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a full-time, day-shift position. You will adhere to medication safety, evaluate and communicate the nursing plan of care, document in electronic medical records, and support a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
The role requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), active RN license, and at least 2 years in acute care.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
- Must have NCLEX pass letter and/or active RN license.
- 2+ years of acute care nursing experience.
- Able to work in a team and communicate in English.
Responsibilities
- Adheres to medication safety policies.
- Maintains professional rapport with physicians, patients, and families.
- Evaluates the nursing plan of care.
- Documents patient information in EMR.
- Sets patient goals based on assessment and diagnosis.
- Assists providers with bedside procedures.
- Performs other duties to ensure smooth department operation.
- Completes mandatory educational requirements.
- Follows CDC isolation guidelines and handwashing policies.
