Personalcare Registered Professional Nursing P.C. in the Capital District is seeking enthusiastic Registered Nurses (RN) for full-time day shifts and part-time night shifts in the Medical Department.

The RN will monitor and evaluate nursing care in line with the clinic's philosophy and report to the Medical Director. Key duties include monitoring treatment services, coordinating with Health Services Administrator, maintaining accurate records, conducting sick calls, and documenting progress.

Qualifikationen

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York.
• Clinical decision-making ability is required.
• Effective communication skills are essential.
• Ability to function independently and demonstrate clinical competency.
• Experience may be substituted by prior education and experience.

Aufgaben

• Monitor and evaluate nursing care in line with Personalcare philosophy and objectives.
• Assess and provide comprehensive treatment care while observing security requirements.
• Monitor treatment services to avoid inappropriate use or duplication of services.
• Coordinate and/or conduct monthly health care staff meetings as assigned.
• Maintain records of all controlled substances, narcotics, and sharps per laws.
• Provide health counseling to patients.
• Conduct sick calls and provisional diagnoses for inmates/patients.
• Document symptoms, progress, and plan of nursing care.
• Take vital signs and perform shift-start assessments.
