Job summary

Genesiscareers is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for part-time night shifts (6:30pm–6:30am) in a long-term care setting. You will provide high-quality nursing care, perform patient assessments, administer meds, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure smooth discharges and positive patient/family experiences.

You will utilize PCC for documentation, lead LPNs/CNAs, and uphold HIPAA and safety guidelines while contributing to a supportive work culture focused on growth and

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or BSN).
• Active RN license in the State Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Experience in long-term care, post-acute, rehabilitative, or geriatric nursing preferred.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Must fulfill health screenings including Tuberculin Skin Test (TST).

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive clinical assessments, administer medications/treatments, and develop individualized care plans.
• Lead and delegate care to LPNs and CNAs while adhering to state practice acts.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to manage care plans and ensure safe discharge planning.
• Mentor and onboard new nursing staff to support team growth.
• Maintain accurate, real-time clinical documentation using PCC EHR.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and facility safety guidelines.
