Job summary

St. Peter's Health Partners in New York's Capital Region is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift on the designated unit. You will deliver direct patient care, assess needs, and participate in care planning.

Qualifications

• A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York.
• Ability to assess, plan, direct, intervene and evaluate patient care.
• Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
• 1 year of RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care, including assessing needs and planning for patient care.
• Assessing the needs of each patient and planning nursing care.
• Direct leadership of supervised personnel to carry out the care plan and evaluate outcomes.
• Coordinate care with the Nurse Manager and unit staff.
• Adapt care to patient's age, growth and development and unit scope of services.
