Job summary

Spencer Hospital in Spencer, IA is seeking an experienced RN to provide high-quality nursing care in the ICU and Emergency Departments. You will use the nursing process to deliver individualized care and collaborate with a team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Location: Spencer, IA Worker Type: Regular Work Shift: Rotating days/evenings/nights/weekends/holidays (United States of America)

Position Highlights

Spencer Hospital is a rural hospital located in northwest Iowa employing over 500+ employees. Positions at Spencer Hospital are not affiliated with Avera; however, we collaborate to provide services to the communities we serve. Employment offers, if accepted, are exclusively with Spencer Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care in the ICU and Emergency Departments
• Assumes the responsibility for the outcome of nursing care during a specified work period
• Collaborates with all available nursing personnel to provide total patient care
• Must have knowledge of and utilize appropriate age-related patient protocols relating to the physical and psychological needs of patients

Requirements

• Must be a caring communicator, flexible, able to multitask and be comfortable with technological systems
• IA RN license BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC are required - inhouse education available upon hire
• One year of Medical/Surgical preferred or critical care experience
• New grads with a strong desire for critical care are encouraged to apply

Schedule

72 hours a pay period Day/Night/Weekend/Holiday Rotation 12 hour shifts 6:30-7 The schedule may fluctuate based upon the needs of the department
