Easterseals PORT Health is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Virginia REACH team. You will support adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities and mental health needs at our Crisis Therapeutic Home in Staunton, VA.

Qualifications

• Current valid, unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse in Virginia.
• Knowledge of MH and I/DD care systems preferred.
• Crisis prevention and intervention experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and car insurance for occasional transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to adults with IDD and behavioral health needs in the Crisis Therapeutic Home.
• Administer medications, perform nursing assessments, and uphold high standards of care.
• Educate individuals about physical and mental health and empower self-management.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to tailor care plans.
• Maintain safe, compliant documentation and follow clinical standards.
• Support stability, recovery, and hope for individuals served.
• Guide Behavior Techs and LPNs as needed.
