Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health in Staunton, VA is seeking a REACH Behavioral Technician II to join the Crisis Therapeutic Home Program. You will provide direct care, crisis support, and therapy-focused activities to residents under clinical supervision.

Requires QMHP or QDDP credentials and Virginia QMHP registration, with a valid driver’s license. Work is on-site 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, every other weekend, with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) or Qualified Developmental Disabilities Professional (QDDP) required.
• Virginia QMHP registration or licensure as Mental Health Professional Resident/Supervisee.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance; ability to transport as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support with daily living activities and behavioral health needs.
• Implement Crisis Education and Prevention Plans and person-centered service plans.
• Monitor symptoms and provide crisis prevention, intervention, and de-escalation.
• Facilitate therapeutic and skill-building activities; promote independence.
• Collaborate with clinical staff, families, and providers for stabilization and discharge.
• Maintain accurate documentation and incident reporting per standards.
