Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health in Staunton, VA is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to support individuals with I/DD and co-occurring behavioral health needs at our Crisis Therapeutic Home. Schedule options include 3pm-11pm or 11pm-7am; join with a $10,000 sign-on and retention bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Virginia LPN (current, unrestricted).
• Knowledge of MH and I/DD care preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Crisis prevention/intervention experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and car insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate medical and nursing support to individuals with I/DD and co‑occurring behavioral health needs.
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with clinical protocols.

At Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH), our mission is rooted in empowering individuals and strengthening communities. We are seeking compassionate and motivated full-time Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Virginia REACH team in supporting individuals with I/DD and mental health needs at our warm, home-like Crisis Therapeutic Home (CTH) in Staunton, VA.

Schedule Options

• Monday – Friday, 3pm-11pm
• Monday – Friday, 11pm-7am

Your Role in Our Mission

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive rate: $26.00 – $31.00 per hour for this full time, non-exempt position
• Sign-on and retention bonus is paid out upon successful completion of 90 days, 6 months, and 1 year!

What We’re Looking For

• Licensure: Current valid, unrestricted licensed as a Practical Nurse in state of Virginia
• Knowledge: MH and I/DD systems of care preferred
• Skills: Strong communication and documentation
• Experience: Crisis prevention and intervention services preferred
• Transportation: A valid driver’s license and car insurance for occasional transportation to appointments
