Job summary

Health Advocates Network, Inc. is seeking an RN for positions in Oregon and Wisconsin. The role features a 36-hour week with three 12-hour shifts, providing direct patient care in aCorrections setting and ensuring accurate EMR documentation.

The ideal candidate holds a WI or compact RN license, has BLS/ACLS, and at least one year of recent nursing experience. Travel pay eligibility is available, with competitive benefits and supportive supervision.

Qualifications

• WI or Compact RN license is required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum of one year of related experience in the last 3 years.
• Copy of PSV from licensing board if required; maintain required certifications and compliance documents.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' health conditions and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor progress and document assessments, interventions, outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses and discharge plans.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and emergencies.
• Perform wound care and IV therapy within scope.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control standards.
• Maintain accurate EMR records.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care focused on safety and quality.

Registered Nurse (RN) –Oregon,WI

Local pay : $60.42/hour

Travel Package:

Travel Rate (based on 36 hours): Hrly $28.57 Stipend (Lodging $770.00+ M&I $560.00) = $1,330.00

Total Comp :$2,358.

Travel Eligibility: Candidates must live at least 50+ miles from the facility to qualify for Travel Pay.

Shift Details:

• Three 12 hour shifts between 0700-2300; every other weekend; holidays as needed

• 36 hours work week

Nursing Specialty: Corrections

RN Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' health conditions and develop individualized care plans.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

• Monitor patient progress and document assessments, interventions, and outcomes.

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.

• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.

• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies.

• Perform wound care, IV therapy, and other clinical procedures within scope of practice.

• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, infection control standards, and facility policies.

• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR).

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while promoting safety and quality outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must have an WI or Compact RN License

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing

• Certs: BLS, ACLS

• Minimum of one (1) year related work experiences within the last three years.

• Additional certifications may be required

• Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
