Job summary

HAN Staff is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a Midland, TX assignment. Local pay is $57.00 per hour with a travel package including lodging and stipends. Schedule is days, 3x12, 36 hours per week, with a 7 on/7 off rotation. Corrections RN specialty.

Qualified candidates hold an active TX RN license, BLS and ACLS, and have at least 1 year of recent experience. Benefits include competitive pay and travel stipends for qualifying candidates.

• Minimum of 1 year related work experience in the last 3 years
• Copy of PSV and required compliance documents as needed

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' health conditions and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient progress and document assessments and outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and emergencies
• Perform wound care and IV therapy within scope of practice
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR)
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care focused on safety and quality

Travel Package:

Travel Rate (based on 36 hours): Hrly $32.00 Stipend (Lodging $644.00 + M&I $385.00) = $1,029.00

Total Comp :$2,181.00

Travel Eligibility: Candidates must live at least 50+ miles from the facility to qualify for Travel Pay.

Nursing Specialty: Corrections RN

Registered Nurse (RN) Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' health conditions and develop individualized care plans.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

• Monitor patient progress and document assessments, interventions, and outcomes.

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.

• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.

• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies.

• Perform wound care, IV therapy, and other clinical procedures within scope of practice.

• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, infection control standards, and facility policies.

• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR).

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while promoting safety and quality outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current RN license in State of TX,

• Active BLS, ACLS,

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.

• Minimum of one (1) year related work experience within the last 3 years.

• Additional certifications may be required

• Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., . BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements)
