Job summary

Health Advocates Network, Inc. in Marion, North Carolina, is seeking a Registered Nurse for evening shifts to provide high-quality patient care in a correctional healthcare setting.

The RN will assess, treat, monitor, educate, and coordinate care for patients in a professional environment. The role requires an active NC RN license, 1+ year of recent nursing experience, and current certifications (BLS, N95, immunizations, TB test).

Qualifications

• Current, valid NC nursing license in good standing.
• Minimum of 1+ year of RN experience within the last 3 years.
• Copy of Primary Source Verification (PSV) from licensing board if required.
• Copy of current required certifications (BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test).

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' health conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient progress and document assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies.
• Perform wound care and IV therapy within scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate EMR and ensure compliance with regulations.

**Local Pay: $ 53.00/hour- W2 **

Travel Pay:

Travel Rate (based on 36 hours): Hourly $31.03, Stipend (Lodging $770.00 + M&I $476.00) = $1,246.00

Shift Details:

• 08hr

• Evening shift - 01.30pm - 10.00pm

** Registered Nurse (RN) Duties & Responsibilities:**

• Assess patients' health conditions and develop individualized care plans.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.

• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.

• Perform wound care, IV therapy, and other clinical procedures within scope of practice.

• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, infection control standards, and facility policies.

• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR).

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while promoting safety and quality outcomes.

** Minimum Qualifications **

• Current, valid, and unrestrictedNC license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

• Minimum of 1+ year of recent experience as aRN within the last 3 years.

• Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test,).
