Job summary

Health Advocates Network, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Maury, North Carolina to join our correctional healthcare team. The position offers local pay at $53.00/hour (W2) with an evening 10-hour shift from 11:30am to 10:00pm.

You will assess patients, administer treatments, document EMR, and coordinate with physicians to ensure high-quality patient care. The role requires an active NC nursing license, at least 1 year of recent RN experience, PSV verification, and current

Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestricted NC license/certification in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a RN within the last 3 years.
• Copy of current PSV from licensing board or verification agency, if required.
• Copy of current required certifications (e.g., BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test).

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ health conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient progress and document assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies.
• Perform wound care, IV therapy, and other clinical procedures within scope of practice.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, infection control standards, and facility policies.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR).
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while promoting safety and quality outcomes.
