Job summary

Health Advocates Network, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse in Lillington, NC to deliver high-quality patient care in a correctional healthcare setting.

You will assess conditions, create care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with the medical team to coordinate treatment. This 12-hour day shift (06:45am–07:30pm) offers local pay of $53.00/hour on a W2 basis, plus a benefits package and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestricted NC license in good standing.
• Minimum of 1+ year of RN experience within the last 3 years.
• Copy of Primary Source Verification from licensing board or verification agency if required.
• Copy of current required certifications (BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test).

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' health conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient progress and document assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and emergencies.
• Perform wound care, IV therapy, and other procedures within scope.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, infection control, and facility policies.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while promoting safety and quality outcomes.

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while promoting safety and quality outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestrictedNC license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
• Minimum of 1+ year of recent experience as aRN within the last 3 years.
• Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test,).
