Staff Today Inc. in Brentwood, TN seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment. Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours/week. Travel package includes hourly pay $20.28 plus lodging $882 and meals & incidental $378 weekly, totaling $1,990.08 weekly. Correctional setting with strong support and benefits.

Responsibilities include monitoring inmate health, supervising staff, coordinating with providers, and ensuring policy compliance. TN license and BLS required.

Qualifications

• Current, valid TN RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of one year of recent RN experience.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association or equivalent.
• Copy of PSV or licensing verification if required.
• Immunization records, TB test, and other client-specific requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inmate health and medical conditions.
• Supervise nursing and medical staff.
• Coordinate with facility staff and external providers.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare, correctional, and safety policies.
• Review medical records for accuracy and appropriate services.
• Monitor pharmacy use and controlled substances.
• Provide health education and counseling.
• Prepare required reports and incident documentation.
• Support accreditation requirements (NCCHC/ACA/JCAHO).
