Job summary

UF Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver patient-centered care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions in collaboration with the care team. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice and strong clinical judgment.

Applicants must hold a Florida RN license; a BSN is preferred at hire. If not BSN, it must be obtained within 3 years. Professional nursing board certification is preferred at hire and required within 2 years if eligible.

Qualifications

• Current Florida RN license is required.
• BSN preferred at time of hire.
• If hired without BSN, must obtain BSN within 3 years.
• Board certification preferred at hire; required within 2 years if eligible.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health status and identify concerns.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with evidence-based practices.
• Evaluate patient responses and adjust plans to improve outcomes.
• Involve patients and families in care planning and delivery.
• Coordinate care across interdisciplinary teams for continuity and quality.
• Delegate and supervise care by LPNs and UAP.
• Foster a positive unit culture and collaborative environment.
• Uphold patient advocacy, safety, and clinical excellence.
