Job summary

CommuniCare Health Services is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as RN CNA Instructor for Morgantown Healthcare Center in Morgantown, WV. This role will conduct CNA training classes at multiple facilities in the area and help build a skilled nursing team.

Ideal candidates possess a current RN license in WV and a minimum of 2 years nursing experience, with a passion for education and training.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in WV.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate/conduct Nurse Aide training classes and testing and maintain all required documentation.
• Develop materials, manuals, and teaching aides and maintain resource library
• Coordinate State-mandated training hours for all CNA’s
• Participate in QI meetings to ensure staff training in identified areas of weakness.
• Develop, implement, and maintain an effective orientation program.
• Conduct/coordinate skills testing.
