Job summary

CommuniCare Health Services is seeking an experienced RN to serve as RN Staff Development Coordinator / CNA Instructor for Beckley Healthcare Center in Beckley, WV. This role focuses on coordinating Nurse Aide training, developing teaching materials, and ensuring state-m mandated inservicing for all employees.

The successful candidate will hold an active RN license in West Virginia, possess Train The Trainer certification, and have prior supervisory and staff development experience in long-term

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in the state where the facility is located.
• Maintain Train The Trainer certificate for CNA training.
• Prior experience in staff development in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience in a long-term care center.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate/conduct Nurse Aide training classes and testing with documentation.
• Develop materials, manuals, and teaching aids; maintain resource library.
• Coordinate annual State-mandated inservicing for all employees.
• Coordinate State-mandated training hours for all CNAs.
• Participate in Quality Improvement meetings to address training gaps.
• Develop and maintain an effective orientation program.
• Conduct and coordinate skills testing.
