CommuniCare Health Services is seeking an RN Assistant Director of Nursing at Morgantown Healthcare Center in Morgantown, WV. This full-time day shift role leads nursing staff to deliver high-quality resident care and ensures compliance with care standards.

The position reports to the DON and requires a WV RN license, a nursing degree, and extensive supervisory experience in long-term care. Strong leadership and clinical oversight are essential, with on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in WV.
• Must have a Nursing degree from an accredited college or approved RN program.
• Minimum 5 years RN supervisory experience, preferably in long-term care.
• Must maintain CPR certification.
• Must understand nursing practices, state regulations, and long-term care standards.
• Ability to lead, make independent decisions and manage staff.

Responsibilities

• Assess new resident needs and inform staff of new arrivals.
• Make daily resident visits and adjust care plans as needed.
• Interact with medical staff, residents, families, and visitors.
• Ensure care is provided with dignity and respect.
• Monitor nursing staff documentation for completeness.
• Participate in on-call rotations and routine emergencies.
