Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an experienced RN to develop the Medical Assistant Teams and Medical Assistant Leads at SCL Health Medical Group Clinics, with a focus on workflows, protocols and team development.

The role collaborates with Clinic Managers and partners with Process Improvement, Ambulatory Informatics, Pharmacy and other system resources to support onboarding, education, and quality improvement across primary care teams.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of practice
• BLS-HCP certification (American Heart Association)
• Minimum two years RN experience
• Leadership or management experience preferred
• Experience with process improvement and change management

Responsibilities

• Develop and support MA teams and leads
• Create and maintain MA orientation and training materials
• Onboard and educate MA staff and leads
• Coach providers and MAs for collaborative patient‑centered care
• Identify opportunities for quality improvement and standardize MA protocols
• Support MA-related pharmacy and medication safety practices
• Participate in clinic quality improvement meetings and MA initiatives
• Assist in MA interview and selection processes
• Promote mission, vision, and values; maintain service standards
• Perform other duties as assigned
