The position emphasizes assessment, planning, implementation, education, and continuous improvement of nursing practice, with a focus on evidence-based care and collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
• ACLS certification.
• 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Experience in assigned clinical area.
• Mentoring experience.
• RNs hired or promoted into this role need to have or obtain their BSN within three years of hire or promotion.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical, social, and psychological status and gather information from the interdisciplinary team.
• Plan individualized care, involve patients and families, and prepare for follow-up needs as appropriate.
• Coordinate and delegate care to the interdisciplinary team to meet care plans.
• Evaluate patient responses and revise the care plan as needed.
