Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Supervisor for the Weekend shift. The role ensures safe, high-quality care, mentors staff, and collaborates with the Staffing Office to manage patient flow and bed availability.

This full-time day-shift weekend position supports unit staffing and incident response. You will lead by example, uphold Mercy standards, and participate in policy-driven quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or compact licensure.
• 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality and cost-effective nursing care.
• Lead staffing, patient flow and bed management in collaboration with Staffing Office.
• Mentor and guide nursing staff to promote professional development and change.
• Maintain adherence to Mercy Service Standards and regulatory guidelines.
