Job summary

MemorialCare Medical Group in Lakewood, CA seeks an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for an outpatient OB/Gyn and Family Medicine practice.

Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm with no after-hours call. Outpatient care, Epic EMR, and an average of 15–21 patients per day are expected.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in Women’s Health or related field as an NP or PA; 3+ years preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in Obstetrics strongly preferred.
• Experience with Epic EMR system highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations.
• Implant contraception (e.g., IUD placement, Nexplanon, etc.).
• See new OB patients and provide prenatal care throughout all stages of pregnancy.
• Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests.

Base Salary Range*:$126,000 to $158,000

Practice Information & Position Details

• Hours of operation:Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Experience

• California Nurse Practitioner and Furnishing licensure or California Physician Assistant license
