Job summary

MemorialCare Medical Group in Lakewood, CA is seeking an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Ob/Gyn and Family Medicine team. The role is outpatient with standard hours, offering baseline salary with incentive potential and comprehensive benefits.

The position emphasizes obstetric and gynecologic care, prenatal services, contraception implants, and outpatient management, supported by Epic EMR and a strong interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in Women’s Health or related field as an NP or PA; 3+ years preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in Obstetrics strongly preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR system highly preferred
• California NP and Furnishing licensure or California PA license
• Current, active, unrestricted licensure as an NP or PA
• Board certification in Women’s Health (Preferred)
• Current BLS
• NPI and DEA

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations.
• Implant contraception (e.g., IUD placement, Nexplanon, etc.).
• See new OB patients and provide prenatal care throughout all stages of pregnancy.
• Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests.

Base Salary Range*:$126,000 to $158,000

We are seeking an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join MemorialCare’s growing Ob/Gyn and Family Medicine practice in Lakewood, CA.

Practice Information & Position Details

• Employment opportunity with MemorialCare Medical Group
• 100% Outpatient
• Hours of operation:Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• No after hours call
• Average 15 to 21 patients per day
• EMR: Epic
• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations

Experience
