Job summary

Huntington Beach Hospital seeks a Clinical Nursing Supervisor to lead the department during night shifts. This full-time role partners with the unit Director and staff to ensure safe, high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include staff orientation, training, performance improvement activities, and effective communication with physicians and administration. The ideal candidate holds an active RN license and BSN is preferred, with BLS and ACLS required.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BSN degree preferred.
• BLS certification required upon hire and current.
• ACLS certification required upon hire and current.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with 1 year in a supervisory role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports administrative responsibility for department service functions.
• Develops and implements departmental plans including performance improvement and regulatory compliance.
• Oversees orientation and training of personnel; communicates with staff, physicians and administration.
• Maintains quality of staff and unit functions during shifts; assists Director in daily operations.
• Direct patient care as needed and ensures efficient department operations.
