Job summary

Huntington Beach Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare Foundation, seeks a House Supervisor RN to oversee hospital operations during night shifts. You will supervise staff, monitor care quality, and coordinate after-hours procedures to ensure smooth patient flow across the facility.

Qualifications include an active RN license, BLS on hire, and ACLS within 30 days. Prior supervisor experience and at least three years in acute care nursing are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• One year prior experience as a Supervisor preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years acute care nursing experience
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assumes administrative responsibility for the management of all department service functions on shift.
• Directly supervises and communicates with staff hospital-wide.
• Oversees patient care delivery and ensures efficient operations and patient flow.
• Assists medical staff with scheduling after-hour procedures and standby staff.
• Enhances patient/family experience through explanations of hospital policies.
