Job summary

Huntington Beach Hospital in California is seeking a Clinical Nursing Supervisor to lead a nursing unit on the night shift. You will work with the unit Director and Manager, implement plans, and supervise staff to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Requirements include a current RN license, BSN preferred, BLS and ACLS on hire, and at least two years of clinical nursing experience with one year in a supervisory role preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state Registered Nurse license.
• Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support certification (BLS).
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports administrative responsibility for the department service functions and works with the unit Director and/or Manager.
• Develops and implements departmental plans, including performance improvement activities and compliance with current regulations.
• Oversees department orientation and training of personnel; communicates with staff and physicians.
• Assists the Department Director in daily operations, directing, supervising and evaluating personnel.
