Job summary

AdventHealth in Greenwood Village, CO is seeking a Nurse Educator to act as a change agent for house-wide education initiatives. You will manage quality projects, integrate policies into practice, and advance clinical care with adult learning principles. Mentorship of students and staff is included.

Required RN licensure and a BSN; MSN preferred. Expect 2+ years in staff development or teaching, and strong MS Office/LMS skills. Night shift, full-time, at AdventHealth.

Qualifications

• RN licensed and registered as required.
• Bachelor's in Nursing required, Master's preferred.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based practice and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a change agent in support of house-wide education initiatives.
• Manages quality and regulatory projects to ensure compliance and improvement.
• Advances clinical care through policy, procedure, and standard integration.
• Incorporates evidence-based practice and adult learning theory in content.
• Develops and evaluates educational programs per policies and regulations.
• Collaborates with leadership, educators, and advanced practice nurses to enhance patient care quality.
• Provides mentorship and professional development for nursing students and associates.
• Utilizes current healthcare trends and legislative issues to inform content.
• Seeks continuing education opportunities in staff development and clinical expertise.
• Plans, presents, and facilitates education initiatives, classes, and events.
• Evaluates program quality and implements improvements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
