Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of ED RN experience.
• Current BLS and TNCC certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, evaluating and revising as needed.
• Administer medications following physician orders and hospital protocols; monitor adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care strategies.
• Coordinate with medical staff and departments to optimize patient care and teamwork.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information and interventions in the medical record.
• Evaluate care plan effectiveness and adjust for improved outcomes; ensure infection control and safety standards.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
• Supervise care provided by team members to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Engage in professional development and performance improvement activities.
• Respond to code situations promptly with necessary interventions.
