Job summary

StoneSprings Hospital Center in Virginia is hiring a Clinical Operations Manager to oversee daily nursing function and staffing across the facility. You will supervise nursing supervisors, manage resource allocation, and ensure high-quality patient care in alignment with policy and organizational goals.

Requires an RN with 5+ years experience, Virginia RN license, CPR and ACLS. BSN or related master's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• RN with minimum 5 years experience - Required.
• Graduate from accredited professional nursing program - Required.
• Virginia State RN license, CPR (adult/child) and ACLS - Required.

Responsibilities

• Provides operational oversight for nursing supervisors, ensuring appropriate management of daily staffing needs throughout the facility
• Maintains skillset to function as nursing supervisor
• Allocates resources according to hospital needs, patient acuity and skill mix
• Ensures scheduling excellence through review of posted schedules and trend analysis
• Collaborates with throughput manager to optimize capacity and throughput
• Develops goals for Nursing Administration and coaches the team
• Assists with facility-wide projects as directed by CNO/ACNO
• Collaborates with ancillary departments to improve workflows
• Provides clinical consultation to assist patient care and throughput
• Promotes open communication and staff involvement in decisions
• Attends and facilitates departmental projects and hospital committees
• All other duties as assigned

Education

Graduate from accredited professional nursing program - Required

Virginia Nursing license

RN license (Virginia)

CPR/ACLS certifications

BSN or higher preferred
