Job summary

StoneSprings Hospital Center is seeking a Clinical Operations Manager to oversee daily nursing operations, staffing, and resource allocation. The role directly supervises nursing supervisors and supports throughput initiatives to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license in Virginia with at least 5 years of nursing leadership experience. BSN preferred, ACLS/CPR required, and a Master’s degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• RN with minimum 5 years of nursing leadership experience.
• Virginia State RN license, CPR (adult and child), and ACLS required.
• Graduate from accredited professional nursing program required.
• BSN nursing and/or Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of nursing departments and staffing.
• Supervise nursing supervisors, float pools, and related departments.
• Ensure appropriate resource allocation based on patient acuity and needs.
• Monitor scheduling quality and provide coaching and development.
• Collaborate with throughput and clinical units to improve throughput.
• Lead facility-wide projects as directed by CNO/ACNO and participate in councils.
