Job summary

Premise Health is seeking an experienced RN Clinical Manager in Deerfield, IL to lead the clinical operations of our Health Center. The role combines hands-on nursing, team leadership, and daily operational management to deliver high-quality patient care.

You will oversee clinical staff, optimize workflows, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, while supporting a positive patient and team experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS/ACLS certification required or may be required based on contract scope.
• COHN/COHN-S or Emergency Nursing or Case Management certification preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in the medical field.
• 2-3 years of management experience.
• Experience using CDC/WHO/APIC infection prevention standards.

• Oversee hiring, training, onboarding, and performance management of staff.
• Allocate time for patient care and clinical leadership.

As a Full Time RN Clinical Manager, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Deerfield, IL.

• Mon - Fri 7:00 am - 4:00 pm

About This Role

We are seeking an experienced RN Clinical Manager to lead the daily operations of our health center while continuing to provide hands‑on clinical support. This is an excellent opportunity for a nursing leader who enjoys combining clinical care, team leadership, and operational management in a collaborative environment. In this role, you will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the clinic, support and develop the clinical team, and provide high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in nursing along with previous management or leadership experience and a passion for creating a positive patient and team experience.

What You’ll Do

• Manages daily operations, staff, and workflow to ensure efficient health center performance
• Oversees hiring, training, onboarding, and performance management of staff (typically composed of RNs, LPNs, administrative, and technical staff)
• Allocates time to patient care and technical expertise as needed
• Monitors patient flow, patient utilization and penetration
• Identifies process improvement opportunities, workflow efficiencies, determines root cause analysis
• Serves as infection control lead, collaborates on quality initiatives and maintains compliance with regulations
• Communicates corporate policies, conducts meetings, and engages with client representatives
• Completes incident reports and assists with investigations and complaint resolutions
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
• Current license as RN in state of practice
• Current certification with hands‑on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN‑S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in the medical field
• 2 - 3 years of management experience
• Experience accessing CDC, WHO, APIC or other industry standards for Infection Prevention practices
