Job summary

Premise Health Inc. in Riverwoods, IL, seeks a Full Time Registered Nurse, Health Center Manager (RN) to lead daily operations and care delivery for client employees at our health center.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license, a BSN or equivalent, and BLS/ACLS; 3+ years in medicine and 2–3 years in management. Expect strong infection control, regulatory compliance, and client communication responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support certification (AHA/ARC or equivalent).
• ACLS may be required depending on contract scope.
• COHN/COHN-S or related Occupational Health Nursing certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations, staff, and workflow of the health center.
• Oversee hiring, training, onboarding, and performance management.
• Balance patient care with technical staff needs.
• Monitor patient flow, utilization, and penetration.
• Lead infection prevention initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Communicate policies, conduct meetings, and liaison with client reps.
• Complete incident reports and assist investigations.
• Maintain accurate patient health records.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

As a Full Time Registered Nurse, Health Center Manager (RN), you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Riverwoods, IL. The scheduled hours are Monday- Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm.

What You’ll Do

• Manages daily operations, staff, and workflow to ensure efficient health center performance
• Oversees hiring, training, onboarding, and performance management of staff (typically composed of RNs, LPNs, administrative, and technical staff)
• Allocates time to patient care and technical expertise as needed
• Monitors patient flow, patient utilization and penetration
• Identifies process improvement opportunities, workflow efficiencies, determines root cause analysis
• Serves as infection control lead, collaborates on quality initiatives and maintains compliance with regulations
• Communicates corporate policies, conducts meetings, and engages with client representatives
• Completes incident reports and assists with investigations and complaint resolutions
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
• Current license as RN in state of practice
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in the medical field
• 2 - 3 years of management experience
• Experience accessing CDC, WHO, APIC or other industry standards for Infection Prevention practices

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $112,000.00 - $140,000.00 annually. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.
