Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Clinton, MA is seeking a registered nurse for a 32-hour work week in a day shift. The role emphasizes direct patient care, planning, and coordination within the nursing process. We offer collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is required for every RN unless ACLS is current.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process to plan, deliver, and manage patient care.
• Perform patient assessments and reassessments per standard procedure.
• Develop and coordinate care plans including discharge planning.
• Direct, supervise, coordinate, and evaluate nursing care in assigned setting.
• Document patient care according to policy and procedure.
• Educate patient, family, and significant others; coordinate education plans.
• Ensure quality and continuity of care through collaboration with providers.
• Administer medications and assist with procedures as required.
