Job summary

Qualifications

• Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration required.
• BLS certification required for every RN.
• ACLS required in select areas (Gannett, MP1, ICU, ED, etc.).
• PALS required in select areas (PACU, ED) within 6 months in select areas.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for patient care from Admission to Discharge.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment.
• Develops and coordinates care plans including discharge.
• Directs, supervises and evaluates nursing care in the assigned setting.
• Documents patient care according to standard procedure.
• Supports Nursing Governance activities.
