Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing.

• Minimum 3 years of acute hospital experience.
• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
• Current California RN license; BCLS and ACLS required.
• Unit-specific competency within 6 months (NRP, PALS, NIHSS).

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the nursing unit and ensure patient safety.
• Manage staffing levels according to unit need and policy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care.
• Drive process improvements to enhance patient throughput.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
• Mentor and develop staff through education and guidance.
