Job summary

Keck Hospital of USC in Glendale, CA is seeking a Nurse Lead (RN) to supervise and coordinate nursing staff, ensure safe patient care, and manage unit operations. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
• CA RN license (registered in California).
• ACLS & BLS required/maintained.
• Strong leadership and communication skills for interprofessional teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial unit assessments and staffing planning.
• Direct patient care and coordinate assignments.
• Ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance.
• Communicate with physicians, pharmacists, social workers and nurses.
• Lead shift huddles and staff orientation for onboarding.
• Support discharge planning and care transitions.
