Job summary

Anacalifornia in California is seeking an experienced nurse leader to provide clinical supervision of a team on a designated unit within a large academic medical center.

You will assign workloads, mentor licensed and unlicensed staff, ensure patient flow and safety, and uphold regulatory standards while promoting a compassionate, evidence-based practice environment.

This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to respond to high census and emergencies with calm professionalism.

Qualifications

• BSN required for hires after Jan 1, 2018; ADN with BA in another field plus MSN may suffice if hired before 2018.
• Minimum three years nursing experience in a facility with high acuity.
• Minimum one year of prior management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Active California RN license; BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision of licensed and unlicensed staff during assigned shifts.
• Assign workloads based on staff competency, patient acuity, and productivity standards.
• Coordinate daily operations to ensure uninterrupted patient care and flow.
• Promote a culture of accountability, empowerment and excellence in practice.
