Job summary

Advocate Trinity Hospital – Med Surg: IU 2 North in Chicago is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time, 0.9 FTE position working 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., 36 hours per week. The pay range is $41.10 to $61.65 per hour, with comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities include directing staff, delivering nursing care, coordinating patient flow, and supporting unit leadership. Required are RN licensure, BSN (or enrollment with goal to complete), and BLS certification; Advocate Health supports professional

Qualifications

• RN license required in state of practice and BLS certification within 6 months unless exempted by leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field; or an Associate with BSN enrollment within 2 years and completion within 5 years.
• Demonstrates clinical excellence and ability to work in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides work direction to clinical and support staff coordinating resources for procedures and patient flow.
• Delivers direct patient care using the nursing process to ensure safe, therapeutic, and quality care with daily rounds.
• Coordinates needs of the patient care team and promotes communication among patients, families, and hospital departments.
• Assists with human resource responsibilities including interviewing and staffing in collaboration with unit leadership.
