Job summary

Advocate Trinity Hospital is seeking a Full-time CNA for night shifts to support the Telemetry unit (2SSU). You will work three 12-hour shifts weekly, with mandatory every-other weekend and holiday. The role runs from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a pay range of $20.80–$31.20 per hour.

Benefits eligible, 36 hours per week, on-site at Advocate Trinity Hospital in Chicago. Candidates must have GED or HS diploma and CNA with BLS.

Qualifications

• CN A certification (or state equivalent) and BLS within 45 days.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills and comfort with EMR.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, feeding, mobility and hygiene.
• Record and document vital signs and inputs into EMR.
• Perform rounds and communicate patient observations to RN.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges and set up rooms.
• Collect specimens and perform basic tests as directed by RN.
• Maintain stock and clean equipment in nursing area.
