Job summary

Tri-Cities Chaplaincy is seeking a Clinical Education Manager in Richland, WA. This full-time exempt role leads infection prevention initiatives, supports ongoing staff development, and partners with facilities to deliver regulatory-compliant education in hospice care.

The RN must have WA license, CPR/BLS, and a minimum of 3 years nursing experience. A Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field is preferred. On-call rotation includes some weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license in Washington State.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Washington Food Worker Card (DOH).
• Minimum of 3 years clinical nursing experience.
• Strong teaching, communication, and public speaking skills.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and with external partners.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and educational methodologies.
• Familiarity with infection control surveillance, data analysis and reporting.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings, nights, and holidays for on-call rotation.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead infection prevention initiatives and education programs.
• Promote safety and well-being of patients, staff, and community.
• Coordinate onboarding and continuing education for nurses and CNAs.
• Provide in-services, training sessions, and ongoing learning opportunities.
• Ensure education aligns with end-of-life care, regulatory compliance, and clinical excellence.
• Outreach to schools, facilities, clinics, and community groups to promote hospice services.
