Job summary

Panorama Convalescent & Rehabilitation Center in Washington state is seeking a Staff Educator/Infection Preventionist RN to strengthen our nursing team. Under DON direction, the educator develops and delivers staff training across clinical and classroom settings, evaluates outcomes, and serves as a resource on nursing practices and policies.

The infection preventionist role oversees the IPCP, antibiotic stewardship, surveillance, and outbreak response to protect residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Must have RN license and strong background in staff education and infection prevention.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred.
• Ability to develop, deliver and evaluate education across clinical and classroom environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, deliver and evaluate staff education programs.
• Serve as an educator resource for nursing practices and facility policies.
• Act as a Super User for the EMR system and train staff on proper use.
• Lead infection surveillance and coordinate IPCP activities.
• Assist with incidents, investigations and compliance with regulations.
