Job summary

The Center for Living & Rehabilitation is seeking an RN with strong infection control expertise to lead education for staff, physicians, and partners. The role involves developing programs, mentoring teammates, and ensuring adherence to CMS, CDC, and APIC guidelines.

You will conduct orientation and annual trainings, collaborate across departments, and stay current with evolving regulations to improve patient safety. Weekend on-call is required.

Qualifications

• RN license in Vermont is required.
• Strong infection control knowledge and regulatory awareness.
• Experience in healthcare education and staff training preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver educational programs on infection prevention for staff, physicians, and community partners.
• Lead orientation and annual training sessions for employees on infection control and patient safety.
• Stay updated on CMS, CDC, APIC, and other guidelines to ensure compliance.
• Serve as a resource and mentor for staff on infection control measures.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement in infection prevention and patient care.
• Weekend on-call required.
