Tenet Healthcare seeks a Registered Nurse Clinical Coordinator (ER) in Detroit, MI. Qualifications

• Associates Degree/Diploma required.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by the state of Michigan.
• One to two years of progressively more responsible experience with evidence of increasing leadership abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize work, delegate to others and facilitate processes.
• Minimum Level 6 of the Promoting Excellence Performance Criteria, if an internal candidate, preferred.
• BLS required, ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Functions as lead and resource person for nursing personnel.
• Collaborates with manager in scheduling to assure adequate nurse-patient ratio.
• Facilitates unit throughput on given shift to improve LOS.
• Coordinates/provides in-service programs to maintain staff competence.
• May assist with staff interviews, retention and evaluation.
• Participates in development of department policies and standards.
• Assists with department process improvement and peer review.
