Job summary

Detroit Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the ED - Emergency Department in Detroit, MI. This staff position offers an up to $10,000 sign-on bonus based on experience and full-time night shifts.

Responsibilities include leading nursing care, collaborating with physicians and care teams, and ensuring timely patient discharge. Requires Michigan RN license and BLS; BSN preferred. Harper University Hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of nursing is required.
• BSN degree is preferred.
• You must be licensed to practice as an RN in Michigan.
• American Heart Association BLS is required.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with physicians and other health care providers.
• Delegate, assess, provide and evaluate patient care.
• Provide and delegate patient care activities to team members.
• Monitor patient progress and prepare patients for discharge.
• Report to senior unit management and participate in shared decision-making.
