Ascension Living is seeking a dedicated nursing-support professional to join Resurrection Village in Chicago, IL. The role supports the Nursing Department with patient data collection, medication administration, and basic lab services.

You will educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care while ensuring safety across rotating shifts. Qualified candidates hold a current LPN credential or CNA and a valid BLS certification, with HS equivalency, and are able to work

Qualifications

• Certified BLS Provider within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Certified Practical/Vocational Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

• Administers medications and observes patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments.
• Performs routine laboratory tests and simple therapeutic services.
• Educates patients/families about disease treatment plan including self-care post discharge, holistic health needs, available resources and follow up care. Assures resident safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations and initiates corrective action as appropriate.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):

Education
