Job summary

Ascension Saint Joseph in Chicago, IL, is seeking an ICU registered nurse for night shift on a full-time basis. You will deliver specialized critical care, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuous, high-quality patient care in a high-acuity environment.

The role requires IL RN licensure, BLS within 1 month, and preferred ALS. A nursing diploma or BSN is required, with opportunities for professional development within Ascension’s comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse credential from Illinois required prior to hire date.
• BLS Provider or Instructor in Basic Life Support required within 1 month of hire.
• Advanced Life Support preferred.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or active professional licensure at time of hire.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• One or more of the following:
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Instructor specializing in Basic Life Support obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Preferred Credential(s):
• Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
