Qualifications

• Nursing diploma, ADN or BSN required.
• BLS certification required; RN licensed in North Carolina.
• Two years nursing experience; at least one year in a medical office or outpatient setting preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to document clinical information.
• Math skills to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
• Reasoning to define problems, collect data and draw conclusions.
• Ability to interpret extensive technical instructions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily clinic assignments to ensure optimal coverage and safe patient care.
• Serve as a clinical/management resource for problem solving and staff performance reviews.
• Help develop and implement clinical policies, procedures and quality improvements.
• Provide direct patient care and ensure nursing staff are trained for clinic procedures.
• Maintain inventory of clinical supplies and assist with budgeting and cost containment.
• Uphold ANA Code of Ethics and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Assist in staff orientation, schedule development and ongoing education.
• Collaborate with physicians and APPs to customize clinics to patient population needs.
