Qualifications

• Two years RN experience; at least one year in medical office or outpatient setting preferred; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates daily clinical assignments to ensure optimal coverage and patient flow.
• Acts as liaison between staff, physicians and manager; assists in performance reviews.
• Develops and implements clinical policies and procedures; ensures adherence to regulatory standards (TJC, OSHA).
• Provides direct patient care and ensures standard of excellence in UNC Rex Healthcare.
• Maintains inventory and assists with budget and cost containment.
• Plans staff orientation, time schedules, and ongoing continuing education; leads annual competency training.
